Bergy Dim Sum #1: Pork & Lettuce Rolls 🥢
Description: This delightful dish is perfect for serving as an appetizer or as part of a vibrant Dim Sum brunch. As part of an ongoing series, I’ll be sharing a variety of Dim Sum recipes, each numbered and named “Bergy Dim Sum 1, 2, etc.” Many of these recipes are freezer-friendly, making it convenient for the host or hostess to prepare ahead of time and enjoy a stress-free brunch experience. I recently revisited this recipe and enhanced its flavor profile by adding 3/4 tsp of hot chili flakes and 2 tbsp of Schezwan sauce, resulting in a perfect balance of spice. Feel free to follow the original recipe on your first attempt, then adjust to your preferred level of heat thereafter. Remember not to mince the chestnuts, shoots, and crab too finely; retaining some crunch adds a delightful texture to the rolls.
