Bistik Sapi Mentega Super Praktis (Butter Beef Steak) Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1/4 kg beef tenderloin
  • 1 onion
  • Margarine (for sautéing)
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 3 cloves garlic, crushed and minced
  • Black pepper to taste
  • 1 tomato, boiled, peeled, and mashed
  • Ground nutmeg to taste
  • Sugar and salt to taste
  • 2 tbsp tomato sauce
  • 2 tbsp sweet soy sauce
  • Water as needed

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Beef:

    • Clean the beef tenderloin thoroughly.
    • Rub the beef with salt, ground nutmeg, and black pepper.
    • Pierce the beef with a fork to allow the seasonings to penetrate.
    • Let the beef marinate in the refrigerator for at least 3 hours. For best results, marinate in the morning and cook in the evening.
  2. Cook the Beef:

    • In a pan, melt some margarine over medium heat.
    • Sauté the minced garlic until it becomes fragrant.
    • Add the sliced onion and continue to sauté until it becomes tender.
    • Add some water to the pan.
    • Place the marinated beef into the pan and add the Worcestershire sauce, mashed tomato, tomato sauce, sweet soy sauce, and additional seasonings (salt, sugar, black pepper, and ground nutmeg).
    • Cook the beef over medium heat until it is tender and the sauce has thickened, ensuring to stir occasionally to prevent sticking.
  3. Serve:

    • Once the beef is cooked through and tender, remove it from the heat.
