16 oz Onion
1 Leek
2 cloves Garlic
5 Small potatoes
12 oz Italian plum tomatoes
1 Bay scallops
1/2 lb Large shrimp
8 leaves Basil
8 sprigs Thyme
2 sprigs Tarragon
1/4 tsp Turmeric
To taste Salt and pepper

Instructions:

  1. In a Dutch oven over medium heat, bring olive oil and 1/4 cup clam juice to a boil.

  2. Add onions, leeks, garlic, and potatoes. Cook and stir for 4 minutes.

  3. Add the remaining clam juice and tomatoes (with juice); bring to a boil.

  4. Cook and stir for 10 minutes.

  5. Add halibut, scallops, and shrimp. Cook and stir for 5 minutes.

  6. Stir in basil, thyme, tarragon, turmeric, salt, and pepper.

  7. Cook for 1 more minute.
