Ingredients:

  • 250 grams of beef
  • 1/2 carrot (sliced as desired)
  • 1/2 onion (sliced)
  • 1 large red chili pepper (sliced as desired)
  • Cooking oil for sautéing
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sweet soy sauce
  • Seasoning
  • Ground Spices:
    • Black pepper (to taste)
    • 2 cloves garlic
    • 2 shallots
    • 3 small red chilies
    • Salt (to taste)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Beef:

    • Slice the beef according to your preference. In a pot, boil the beef with enough water until tender, which should take about 20-30 minutes. Once done, set aside the beef and reserve the cooking liquid.
  2. Blend the Spices:

    • While waiting for the beef to become tender, blend together the garlic, shallots, small red chilies, and black pepper to form a smooth spice paste.
  3. Sauté the Spices:

  6. Season the Dish:

    • Season the mixture with salt, seasoning, oyster sauce, and sweet soy sauce. Mix thoroughly.
  7. Simmer:

    • Cover the skillet and let the mixture simmer for about 10 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld and the sauce to reduce slightly.
  8. Serve:
