Stir-Fried Pok Choy and Tofu
Ingredients:

- 2 bunches of pok choy (bok choy)
- 1/4 block of firm tofu
- 3 cloves garlic
- A splash of water
- To taste: Masako (seasoning), sugar, and pepper
- Cooking oil
Instructions:
-
Prepare the Ingredients: Begin by cutting the pok choy into bite-sized pieces, ensuring the stems and leaves are separated. Dice the tofu into small cubes. Lightly crush the garlic cloves to release their flavor.
-
Fry the Tofu: Heat a small amount of cooking oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the tofu cubes and fry them until they are golden and slightly crisped on the edges. Remove the tofu from the pan and set it aside.
-
Sauté the Garlic: In the same pan, add a bit more oil if needed and heat it over medium heat. Add the crushed garlic and sauté until it becomes fragrant, being careful not to let it burn.
-
Cook the Pok Choy Stems: Add the pok choy stems to the pan and pour in a splash of water to help create steam. Stir-fry the stems until they are tender yet still crisp.
-
Season and Combine: Season the dish with Masako, sugar, and pepper to taste. Stir well to combine all the flavors. Next, add the pok choy leaves and the fried tofu back into the pan. Continue to stir-fry everything together until the leaves are wilted and all the ingredients are well mixed and heated through.
-
Serve: Once everything is cooked to your liking, remove from heat and serve immediately. Enjoy your flavorful stir-fried pok choy and tofu!
