Stir-Fried Curiwis and Egg

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 pack of curiwis (a type of leafy green, such as water spinach or another preferred variety)
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 red chili pepper
  • 1 gendot chili pepper (or substitute with an additional red chili pepper if unavailable)
  • 1/2 tomato
  • Seasoning to taste
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce

Instructions:

  1. Begin by heating a small amount of oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the chopped red chili, gendot chili, and diced tomato to the pan. Sauté until fragrant and slightly softened.
  2. Crack the egg into the pan and stir it together with the sautéed ingredients, cooking until the egg is just set.
  3. Add the curiwis to the pan, pouring in a small amount of water to help the greens cook. Stir occasionally until the curiwis are wilted and tender, about 2-3 minutes.
  4. Season the mixture with seasoning to taste and stir in the oyster sauce. Cook for an additional minute, ensuring the flavors are well combined and the curiwis are evenly coated.
  5. Remove from heat and serve immediately. This simple and flavorful dish is ready to enjoy and easy to prepare.

Note: Feel free to adjust the seasoning and spice levels according to your taste preferences.
