Ingredients

Ingredient Quantity
Ripe Mango 2
Tea Bags 2
Lemon Juice 1 tablespoon
Sugar As needed
Water 4 cups
Lemon Few slices (for garnish)
Mint Leaves (Pudina) Few (for garnish)
Ice Cubes As required
Ripe Mango (optional) 1 (sliced, for garnish)

Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 30 minutes

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Mango Puree:
Begin by washing, peeling, and chopping the ripe mangoes. Use a blender to puree the mangoes until smooth. Once done, refrigerate the mango puree to keep it cool for the tea preparation.

  2. Brew the Tea:
In a saucepan, bring 4 cups of water to a boil. Once the water is hot, dip the 2 tea bags into the water and turn off the heat. Allow the tea bags to steep for a few minutes, then let the water cool completely. After it has cooled, remove the tea bags and refrigerate the brewed tea until chilled.

  3. Blend the Mango Iced Tea:
Once the brewed tea and mango puree are chilled, it’s time to blend the ingredients. In a blender, combine the chilled tea, mango puree, 1 tablespoon of lemon juice, and sugar (to taste). Blend until everything is smooth and well combined.

  4. Serve and Garnish:
Pour the prepared Mango Iced Tea into serving glasses. Add plenty of ice cubes, a few slices of lemon, and fresh mint leaves for a fragrant garnish. For an extra touch, garnish with a few slices of fresh mango if desired.

  5. Enjoy:
Your Mango Iced Tea is ready to serve! Enjoy it on a hot summer day, paired with light snacks like Muesli Banana Fritters or Gobi Matar Mini Samosas for the ultimate refreshment.

This Mango Iced Tea is not just a drink but an experience that brings together the tropical sweetness of mangoes with the refreshing coolness of iced tea. Whether you’re unwinding on a sunny afternoon or hosting a gathering, this chilled beverage will surely be the highlight of the moment.
