Sugar | 350g |
Water | 30g |
Instructions:

Prepare the Pineapple:
Start by peeling the pineapple. First, remove the base by cutting off about 3-4 cm. Next, use a knife to carefully remove the top crown of the pineapple. Stand the pineapple upright and, holding it firmly, cut away the skin from top to bottom. This will help eliminate the harder, darker parts of the flesh. -
Slice the Pineapple:
Once the pineapple is peeled, cut it into thin rounds, making sure to remove the core from each slice. -
Combine Ingredients:
Transfer the pineapple slices into a large bowl. Add the fresh mint leaves to the bowl and pour in the water. Stir to combine. -
Add Sugar:
Sprinkle the sugar over the mixture and stir until the sugar begins to dissolve into the liquid. -
Churn the Sorbet:
If you have an ice cream maker, pour the mixture into the machine and churn for about 30 minutes. The sorbet should thicken and develop the perfect icy texture. -
Alternative Method (Without Ice Cream Maker):
If you donβt have an ice cream maker, place the mixture in a shallow dish and put it in the freezer for at least an hour. After an hour, remove it and scrape with a fork to break up any ice crystals. Repeat this process every 30 minutes until the sorbet reaches a smooth, scoopable texture. -
Serve:
Once the sorbet has reached the desired consistency, scoop it into serving bowls. Garnish with fresh mint leaves for an extra touch of color and aroma.
Enjoy this refreshing and light pineapple and mint sorbet as a perfect end to any meal, or whenever you need a sweet and cooling treat!
