Instructions:

1. Prepare the Starter:

  1. In a small bowl, dissolve 1 packet of active dry yeast into 2/3 cup of warm water. Allow it to sit undisturbed for about 10 minutes until it becomes creamy and slightly frothy.
  2. Add 1 1/3 cups of unbleached all-purpose flour to the yeast mixture. Stir vigorously with a wooden spoon for about 100 strokes or use the paddle attachment of an electric mixer for approximately 1 minute. This will ensure a smooth, lump-free starter.
  3. Cover the bowl tightly with plastic wrap and let the starter rise at room temperature until it has tripled in volume. This can take anywhere from 6 hours to overnight.

2. Prepare the Dough:
