Stir-Fried Egg with Sausages and Meatballs (Orak Arik Telur Baso Sosis)

Ingredients:

  • 2 eggs
  • 2 sausages
  • 2 meatballs
  • 2 red chilies
  • 3 shallots
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • Salt, to taste
  • A pinch of brown sugar

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Eggs:

    • Beat the eggs until well mixed. Heat a pan over medium heat and cook the eggs, stirring continuously to create a scrambled texture. Once fully cooked, set aside.
  2. Prepare the Aromatics:

    • Finely chop the garlic and red chilies, keeping a portion of the chilies whole for added texture. Set aside.
  3. Cook the Aromatics:

    • Thinly slice the shallots. In the same pan used for the eggs, heat a little oil and sauté the shallots until they become translucent. Add the finely chopped garlic and chilies, along with salt and a pinch of brown sugar. Stir-fry until fragrant and the sugar has melted.
  4. Add the Sausages and Meatballs:

    • Slice the sausages and meatballs into bite-sized pieces. Add them to the pan and cook until they are heated through and starting to brown.
  5. Combine and Serve:

    • Return the scrambled eggs to the pan, mixing everything together. Stir-fry briefly to combine all the ingredients and adjust the seasoning to taste.
  6. Serve Hot:

    • Once well combined and heated through, transfer the stir-fry to a serving dish. Serve hot and enjoy as a satisfying meal.
