Ingredients:

9 1/2 Wheat flour
6 1/2 Vital wheat gluten
3 1/2 Barley
1 Lentils
3/4 Salt
1/3 Splenda sugar substitute
1/3 Skim milk
3 Extra virgin olive oil
1 Water
1 1/2 Sesame seeds

Instructions:

  1. Combine all dry ingredients.
  2. Combine all wet ingredients.
  3. Place the mixture in a large pot and heat on a low setting until the liquid is just warm to the touch.
  4. Make a well in the center of the dry ingredients and pour in the heated liquid ingredients.
  5. Fold with a dough scraper until thoroughly combined. The dough will be very thick.
  6. Portion the dough into eight pre-greased medium loaf pans and press the mixture into the pan firmly, filling half the pan.
  7. Place the pans in a covered area to proof for approximately 2 hours.
  8. When the dough has risen to the top of the baking pans, it is ready to bake.
  9. Remove the pans from the proofing area, mist the loaves with water, and dust with sesame seeds.
  10. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake the loaves for 75 minutes.
  11. The loaves will be dark brown when finished, while the sesame seeds will be almost white.
  12. Let the pans cool for 10 minutes, then remove the loaves to a cooling rack.
  13. Allow the loaves to cool for an additional 30 minutes before serving.
