Beef Gyudon Bowl
Ingredients:
- 300 grams beef, thinly sliced
- 1 onion, sliced
Sauce:
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 2 tablespoons apple juice (or rice vinegar)
- 1 tablespoon dashi powder (or chicken stock powder)
- 1 tablespoon grated ginger
- 1.5 cups water
Garnish:
- Toasted sesame seeds
- 1 stalk green onion, finely sliced

Prepare the Sauce:
In a medium saucepan, combine soy sauce, sugar, apple juice (or rice vinegar), dashi powder (or chicken stock powder), grated ginger, and water. Stir well to dissolve the sugar and dashi powder. -

Add the Onion:
Once the sauce is boiling, add the sliced onion. Allow it to simmer for about 2 minutes until the onion begins to soften. -
Cook the Beef:
Add the thinly sliced beef to the saucepan. Cook for approximately 5 minutes or until the beef is fully cooked and tender. -
Serve:
