Homemade Beef Steak with Mushroom Sauce
Ingredients:
For the Steak:
- 2 slices of beef steak
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
For the Mushroom Sauce:
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 carton full cream milk
- Sliced button mushrooms (as needed)
- Cornstarch, dissolved in a little water (as needed)
- Salt, sugar, and pepper to taste
For the Sautéed Vegetables:
- 1 bunch Chinese broccoli (kailan) or other preferred vegetables
- 5 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt, sugar, and pepper to taste

- Rub the beef slices with salt, black pepper, dried thyme, and vegetable oil. Let them marinate for about 15 minutes.

- Heat a pan and add a bit of oil. Sauté the minced garlic until fragrant.
- Add the Chinese broccoli or other vegetables and season with salt, sugar, and pepper. Cook until the vegetables are tender.
