Indulge in a delightful fusion of flavors with this delectable Beef Steak with Black Pepper Sauce recipe. This dish features succulent beef steaks seasoned with a tangy pineapple marinade and paired with a rich, savory black pepper sauce. Ideal for a hearty meal, this recipe is both simple and satisfying.

Ingredients:

  • 500 grams of beef steak
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped pineapple
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper powder

For the Black Pepper Sauce:

  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 50 grams of mushrooms (button mushrooms or oyster mushrooms, depending on preference)
  • 1 teaspoon coarsely ground black pepper
  • Β½ teaspoon finely ground black pepper
  • 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 200 milliliters water
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 3 tablespoons vegetable oil

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Beef Steaks:

    • Slice the beef steak into pieces approximately 1 cm thick. Place the slices on a plate and coat them with the finely chopped pineapple and black pepper powder.
    • Gently press the seasoning into the meat and let it marinate for about 5 minutes. Be careful not to marinate for too long to prevent the meat from becoming too tender.
    • Preheat a grill pan or a skillet over medium heat and cook the marinated steaks to your desired level of doneness.
  2. Prepare the Black Pepper Sauce:

    • Heat the vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the finely chopped onion and minced garlic, cooking until they become soft and translucent.
    • Add the mushrooms and coarsely ground black pepper to the pan. Stir and cook until the mushrooms are tender and browned.
    • Stir in the oyster sauce and soy sauce, mixing well to combine the flavors.
  3. Make the Sauce:

    • In a separate bowl, mix the water with the all-purpose flour and cornstarch until fully dissolved.
    • Gradually pour this mixture into the pan with the mushroom mixture, stirring continuously until the sauce thickens and reaches a desirable consistency.
    • Season the sauce with salt to taste. Remove the pan from heat once the sauce is thick and smooth.
  4. Serve:

    • Place the cooked beef steaks on a serving plate and generously ladle the black pepper sauce over the top.
    • Serve hot and enjoy the robust flavors of this classic dish.

Enjoy this flavorful beef steak with black pepper sauce, a perfect blend of tender meat and a creamy, spicy sauce that’s sure to satisfy your taste buds.
