Title: Beef Tendon Meatballs (Bakso Urat Daging Sapi)
Ingredients:
- 500 grams beef
- 1 tablespoon fried shallots
- 2 tablespoons fried garlic
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 4 heaping tablespoons sago flour
- 1 egg white
- 150 ml ice water
- 1 teaspoon beef stock powder
Steps:
- Place the beef and fried shallots and garlic in a food processor. Process briefly until coarsely ground.
- Add the remaining ingredients except for the egg white and ice water. Continue to process until the mixture is well combined.
- Finally, add the egg white and ice water, and process until the mixture becomes smooth and elastic.
- Bring a large pot of water to a boil.
- Shape the meat mixture into balls and drop them into the boiling water.
- Cook until the meatballs float to the surface, then remove them with a slotted spoon.
- Your beef tendon meatballs are now ready to be stocked or used in your favorite soup.
