Beef Teriyaki Recipe 🐮

Transform your dinner with this flavorful Beef Teriyaki recipe that combines tender slices of beef with a savory, slightly sweet sauce, enhanced with aromatic garlic and a hint of spice. This dish is perfect for a quick yet impressive meal.

Ingredients:

  • 250 grams of beef
  • 4 cloves of garlic
  • 1 tablespoon of teriyaki sauce
  • 1 tablespoon of margarine
  • Cooking oil
  • 1 tablespoon of sweet soy sauce
  • 1/2 tablespoon of oyster sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon of ground black pepper
  • Sugar, to taste
  • Seasoning powder, to taste
  • 1/2 onion
  • 1 large red chili
  • Water

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Beef:
Begin by washing the beef thoroughly and slicing it into thin strips. This will ensure that the meat absorbs the flavors better and cooks evenly.

  2. Marinate the Beef:
Crush the garlic cloves to a fine paste. Mix the garlic paste with the teriyaki sauce and coat the beef slices thoroughly. Allow the beef to marinate in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour to let the flavors meld and penetrate the meat.

  3. Prepare the Vegetables:
While the beef is marinating, cut the onion into thin slices and chop the red chili. Set aside for later use.

  4. Cook the Beef:
Heat a combination of cooking oil and margarine in a skillet over medium heat. Once the oil is hot, add the marinated beef slices. Cook the beef until it releases its juices and starts to brown.

  5. Add the Sauces and Seasonings:
Pour in the sweet soy sauce and oyster sauce, and sprinkle the ground black pepper. Add a small amount of sugar and seasoning powder to enhance the flavor. Stir well to combine.

  6. Simmer:
Pour in approximately 3/4 cup of water to create a rich sauce. Let the mixture come to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer until the liquid has reduced and thickened slightly.

  7. Add Vegetables:
Incorporate the sliced onion and chopped red chili into the skillet. Stir to combine and allow the vegetables to cook until they are tender and infused with the flavors of the sauce.

  8. Adjust the Seasoning:
Taste the sauce and adjust the seasoning if necessary. If the beef isn’t tender enough, add a bit more water and let it cook until the meat is tender and the sauce has thickened to your liking.

  9. Serve:
Once the sauce has reached the desired consistency and the beef is tender, remove from heat. Serve your Beef Teriyaki hot, accompanied by steamed rice or noodles for a complete meal.

Enjoy this delectable Beef Teriyaki, a dish that is sure to delight with its rich, savory flavors and satisfying texture! 👌
