Baby Green Beans with Sautéed Beef

Ingredients

  • 200 grams of ground beef
  • Baby green beans
  • 6 cloves of garlic, crushed and finely chopped
  • 1/2 onion, diced (optional)
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Oyster sauce
  • Soy sauce
  • 100 ml water
  • Oil for sautéing

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Beef:

    • Wash the ground beef thoroughly. Season with pepper, salt, and oyster sauce. Let it marinate in the refrigerator for 15 minutes.
  2. Sauté the Aromatics:

    • Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Sauté the diced onion (if using) and half of the finely chopped garlic until fragrant.
  3. Cook the Beef:

    • Add the marinated ground beef to the pan. Adjust the seasoning to taste and cook until the beef is fully cooked through. Set aside.
  4. Prepare the Green Beans:

    • In the same pan, add a bit more oil if needed and sauté the remaining garlic until fragrant. Add the baby green beans and cook for a short time, making sure they stay crisp.
  5. Combine and Finish:

    • Add soy sauce and oyster sauce to the green beans. Pour in the water and increase the heat to bring it to a boil. Adjust the seasoning as needed. Once the flavors are balanced and the green beans are cooked to your desired tenderness, turn off the heat.
  6. Serve:

    • Pour the sautéed beef over the green beans. Serve immediately to enjoy the crispy green beans paired with savory, flavorful beef. Enjoy this delightful and simple dish!
