Beef Yakiniku ala RHpawonalit
Ingredients:
- 150 grams of beef shank, thinly sliced against the grain
- 1/2 large onion, sliced into strips
- 5 stalks of asparagus, sliced diagonally (alternatively, use scallions)
- 2 tablespoons of cooking oil
- 1 clove of garlic, finely chopped
For the Sauce:
- 1 cm piece of ginger, finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon sweet soy sauce
- 2 1/2 teaspoons granulated sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon sesame oil
- 50 ml beef broth (prepared by mixing 1 teaspoon beef stock powder with water)
- Additional water as needed for desired sauciness
Instructions:
-
Sauté Aromatics: Heat the cooking oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the finely chopped garlic and sliced onion. Sauté until fragrant and the onions become translucent.
-
Cook the Beef: Add the thinly sliced beef shank to the pan. Cook, stirring frequently, until the beef changes color and is browned.
-
Add Sauce: Pour the prepared sauce into the pan. Stir well to coat the beef evenly. Continue cooking until the sauce thickens and the beef is tender, allowing the flavors to meld together. Adjust the consistency with additional water if you prefer a saucier dish.
-
Serve: Remove from heat and transfer the beef yakiniku to a serving dish. Serve hot with freshly steamed rice for a delightful meal.
Enjoy the savory and slightly sweet flavors of this Beef Yakiniku, a perfect accompaniment to your rice and a comforting addition to your culinary repertoire!
