Ingredients:

  • 500 grams beef, thinly sliced
  • 1 large onion
  • 3 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 2 tablespoons sweet soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • Salt and sugar, to taste
  • Ground black pepper, to taste
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • Cooking oil, for stir-frying
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch, dissolved in water

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Beef:

    • Thinly slice the beef and rinse it thoroughly.
    • Marinate the beef with sweet soy sauce, oyster sauce, soy sauce, and ground black pepper. Let it sit for approximately 1 hour to absorb the flavors.
  2. Cook the Beef:

    • Heat a pan with a small amount of cooking oil over medium heat.
    • Sauté the minced onion until it becomes fragrant.
    • Add the marinated beef to the pan and stir-fry until the beef changes color. Season with salt and sugar to taste. Continue cooking until the beef is tender and the flavors have melded together. Adjust the seasoning if needed.
  3. Thicken the Sauce:

    • Pour the cornstarch mixture into the pan, stirring continuously.
    • Add the sliced onion and continue to cook until the sauce thickens and the onion becomes tender.
  4. Finish and Serve:

    • Drizzle sesame oil over the beef and give it a final stir.
    • Remove from heat and serve hot.

Enjoy this savory and flavorful Beef Yakiniku as a delightful addition to your meal!
