Beef Yakiniku Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 250 grams beef yakiniku, thinly sliced
  • 1 stalk green onion, sliced
  • 1/2 red bell pepper, cut into thin strips
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch, dissolved in a small amount of water
  • 100 ml water
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
Marinade:
  • 5 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 small onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 cm ginger, finely grated
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 3 tablespoons sweet soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon white pepper
  • 1 tablespoon black pepper

Instructions:

  1. Marinate the Beef: In a mixing bowl, combine the thinly sliced beef with minced garlic, thinly sliced onion, soy sauce, grated ginger, sesame oil, white pepper, and black pepper. Allow the beef to marinate for at least 30 minutes to absorb the flavors.

  2. Prepare the Pan: Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the vegetable oil and ensure it covers the surface of the pan.

  3. Cook the Beef: Add the marinated beef along with any leftover marinade to the hot skillet. Stir-fry the beef, making sure to cook it evenly until it is nicely browned and cooked through.

  4. Add Vegetables: Incorporate the sliced green onion and red bell pepper into the skillet. Pour in the water and stir well. Let it cook for a few minutes until the vegetables are tender.

  5. Adjust Seasoning: Add sweet soy sauce to taste, stirring to combine. Taste and adjust the seasoning as needed.

  6. Thicken the Sauce: Gradually add the cornstarch mixture to the pan while stirring continuously. Continue to cook until the sauce has thickened to your desired consistency.

  7. Serve: Once the sauce is thickened and the vegetables are cooked, remove the skillet from the heat. Serve the Beef Yakiniku hot, and enjoy!

This flavorful Beef Yakiniku recipe is perfect for a quick and satisfying meal, bringing the delightful taste of Japanese cuisine to your table.
