Black Pepper Beef (Sapi Lada Hitam)

Ingredients:

  • 300 grams of beef, boiled until tender
  • 2 small potatoes
  • 1 tablespoon black peppercorns
  • 1 small onion, sliced lengthwise
  • 1 stalk of green onion, cut diagonally
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 2 tablespoons sweet soy sauce
  • 100 ml beef broth from boiling the beef

Steps:

  1. Fry the potatoes until they are tender. Set aside.
  2. Dry roast the black peppercorns until fragrant, then grind them to a fine powder.
  3. Sauté the onion until it becomes fragrant. Add the beef, potatoes, sweet soy sauce, oyster sauce, and ground black pepper.
  4. Pour in the beef broth.
  5. Cook until the sauce thickens. Add the green onion and adjust the seasoning to taste.
