Beef Steak with Black Pepper Sauce
Ingredients:
- 300 grams beef steak (adjust quantity based on preference)
- Cooking oil, margarine, or butter for grilling
- For Marinade:
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- For Black Pepper Sauce:
- 1 onion, thinly sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup button mushrooms (optional)
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
- 4 tablespoons sweet soy sauce
- 400 ml water
- Black pepper to taste
- Salt to taste (be cautious with the amount)
- Cornstarch solution (for thickening)
- Cooking oil, margarine, or butter for sautéing
Instructions:

Prepare the Beef:
- Rub the beef steak with salt and black pepper. Place it in a sealed container and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
- Once marinated, heat a grill pan and brush it lightly with margarine. Grill the steak until it reaches your desired level of doneness.

- In a pan, heat a bit of margarine or oil over medium heat. Sauté the sliced onion and garlic until fragrant.
- Add the mushrooms (if using) and cook until they are tender.
- Stir in the soy sauce, sweet soy sauce, and oyster sauce. Pour in the water and mix well. Bring the mixture to a boil.
- Once boiling, adjust the seasoning with black pepper and salt to taste.
- Allow the sauce to simmer until the mushrooms are cooked and the liquid has reduced slightly.
- Gradually add the cornstarch solution while stirring until the sauce reaches your desired thickness.
- Taste and adjust the seasoning if necessary.
