Black Pepper Beef (Sapi Lada Hitam)
Ingredients:
- 1/2 kg beef, thinly sliced
- 1/2 bell pepper, cut into strips
- 1/2 onion, cut into wedges
- 1 stalk green onion, cut into wide pieces
- 4 cloves garlic, finely chopped
- Sweet soy sauce, to taste
- Oyster sauce, to taste
- Salt, to taste
- Black pepper, to taste
- Ground black pepper, to taste
- Water, as needed
- Cooking oil, for sautéing
Instructions:

Prepare the Beef:
- Slice the beef thinly and wash thoroughly.

Marinate the Beef:
- Marinate the sliced beef with sweet soy sauce and oyster sauce (add according to taste) for approximately 15 minutes, allowing the flavors to penetrate the meat.

Sauté the Vegetables:
- Heat some cooking oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the garlic, onion, and bell pepper. Sauté until they release a fragrant aroma.

Cook the Beef:
- Add the marinated beef to the pan and stir well. If needed, add a little water to help with cooking.

Season and Simmer:
- Season the dish with ground black pepper, salt, and additional black pepper according to your taste. Also, add extra sweet soy sauce and oyster sauce as needed. Stir and adjust the seasoning.

Finish and Serve:
- Cook until the beef is fully cooked. Add the green onions in the last minute of cooking. Once done, remove from heat.
