Sapi Lada Hitam (Black Pepper Beef)
Ingredients:
- 500 grams beef (thinly sliced)
- 1 large onion
- 2 cloves garlic
- 2 cm ginger
- 2 large red chilies
- 3 large green chilies
- 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
- 2 tablespoons sweet soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch (dissolved in water)
- 4 tablespoons water
- Cooking oil (as needed)
Instructions:

Marinate the Beef: Thinly slice the beef and marinate it for 1 hour in a mixture of 2 tablespoons oyster sauce, 2 tablespoons sweet soy sauce, and 1 tablespoon salt.

Prepare the Vegetables: Remove the seeds from the red and green chilies, and slice them into thin strips. Slice the onion into medium-thick rings. Crush the garlic and chop it finely.
