Tumis Pokcoy with Fried Tofu

Ingredients

Ingredient Quantity
Bok Choy 3 heads, washed and chopped
Firm Tofu 300 grams, cubed and fried
Red Chilies 3, sliced diagonally
Garlic 3 cloves, sliced
Onion ½, coarsely chopped
Oyster Sauce 1 tablespoon
Sweet Soy Sauce 1 tablespoon
Sugar To taste
Salt To taste
Chicken Bouillon Powder To taste
Water As needed
Cooking Oil A little for sautéing

Instructions

  1. Sauté Aromatics: In a pan, heat a little oil over medium heat. Add the sliced garlic, chopped onion, and red chilies. Sauté until fragrant and the onions are translucent.

  2. Add Bok Choy: Add the chopped bok choy to the pan, stir-frying until it wilts. Pour in a bit of water to help with the cooking.

  3. Season the Dish: Stir in the oyster sauce, sweet soy sauce, sugar, salt, and chicken bouillon powder. Mix well to combine.

  4. Incorporate Tofu: Gently fold in the fried tofu cubes, ensuring they are well coated with the sauce. Taste and adjust seasoning as needed.
