Bombay-Style Deviled Eggs

Ingredients:

  • 5 hard-boiled eggs
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 medium onion
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sweet soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon seasoned salt

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Eggs: Peel and slice the hard-boiled eggs in half lengthwise. Arrange them neatly on a serving plate.

  2. Cook the Aromatics: Finely chop the garlic and onion. Heat a pan over medium heat and add a splash of oil. Sauté the garlic and onion until they become fragrant and golden brown.

  3. Make the Sauce: Add the oyster sauce, sweet soy sauce, and seasoned salt to the pan with the sautéed garlic and onion. Stir well to combine. If the sauce appears too thick, add a small amount of water to reach your desired consistency.

  4. Combine and Serve: Allow the sauce to simmer for a minute, letting the flavors meld. Pour the hot sauce mixture over the sliced eggs. Serve immediately for the best flavor.

This recipe transforms simple hard-boiled eggs into a flavorful dish with a rich, savory sauce. Enjoy this as an appetizer or a delightful addition to any meal!
