Rolade Ayam Tahu isi Sosis

Ingredients

Chicken breast (diced) 1 piece
Egg white 1 (the yolk reserved)
Tapioca flour (or sago) 2 tablespoons
Red onion (finely chopped) 2 cloves
Garlic (finely chopped) 2 cloves
Salt 1 teaspoon
Ground pepper To taste
Sausages (cut lengthwise) 4 pieces
Thin omelettes 2 (made from the reserved yolk)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Omelettes: Make two thin omelettes, setting them aside.
  2. Mix the Filling: In a bowl, combine the pressed tofu, diced chicken, egg white, tapioca flour, red onion, garlic, salt, and pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.
  3. Assemble the Rolade: Lay one omelette on a sheet of aluminum foil. Spread half of the tofu and chicken mixture over the omelette, smoothing it out evenly.
  4. Add the Sausages: Place the lengthwise-cut sausages along the edge of the mixture.
  5. Roll and Seal: Carefully roll the omelette, tucking in the sides as you go, and secure the ends by tying them with the foil. Repeat this process for the remaining mixture and ingredients.
  6. Steam the Rolade: Place the rolls in a steamer and cook over boiling water for about 15 minutes until thoroughly cooked.
  7. Cool and Slice: Once cooked, turn off the heat and let the rolls cool slightly before slicing them into pieces according to your preference.
