Mie Goreng Telur: A Simple Delight

Ingredients:

Dried noodles (any brand) 1 pack (I used “Nie Burung Dara”)
Chicken egg 1 piece
Spice Mix
Shallots 2 cloves
Garlic 1 clove
Salt 1 teaspoon
Additional Seasoning
Shallots 2 cloves, thinly sliced
Garlic 2 cloves, thinly sliced
Bird’s eye chilies 7 pieces
Ground pepper To taste

Instructions:

  1. Begin by boiling the dried noodles in water until they are tender and wilted; set aside.
  2. In a blender or food processor, finely grind the spice mix ingredients: shallots, garlic, and salt until smooth.
  3. Thinly slice the additional seasoning ingredients: shallots and garlic.
  4. Heat oil in a pan until hot, then add the sliced additional seasonings and sauté until fragrant.
  5. Next, add the ground spice mix to the pan, stirring to combine and cook briefly.
  6. Crack the chicken egg into the pan, mixing it with the sautéed spices until the egg is fully cooked.
  7. Gently fold in the wilted noodles, ensuring they are coated with the flavorful mixture.
  8. Season with ground pepper and salt to taste, stirring well until everything is heated through.
  9. Serve your delicious Mie Goreng Telur hot, and enjoy this simple yet delightful dish that your family will love!
