Ingredients:

  • 2 Frankfurters
  • 1/2 Onion
  • 1/2 Carrot
  • 1/2 Green Bell Pepper
  • 1 Garlic Clove
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 cup Green Cabbage, shredded
  • 6 tsp Cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup Soy Sauce
  • 1 cup Broth (vegetable or chicken), low sodium
  • Oil for cooking

Instructions:

Step Details
1. In a 9 or 10-inch nonstick skillet, heat oil over medium heat.
2. Add onion, carrot, green bell pepper, and minced garlic to the skillet. Saute for about 5 minutes or until the onion turns translucent.
3. Reduce the heat to low. Add shredded green cabbage to the skillet. Cover and cook, stirring occasionally, for about 10 minutes or until the cabbage wilts.
4. Incorporate the frankfurter slices into the vegetable mixture. Cook until they are heated through and infused with the flavors of the vegetables.
5. Meanwhile, in a measuring cup or small bowl, combine the broth, cornstarch, and soy sauce. Stir until the cornstarch dissolves completely.
6. Pour the broth mixture over the frankfurter and vegetable blend in the skillet. Cook and stir continuously until the sauce slightly thickens and coats the ingredients.
