Grilled Nile Tilapia with Basil Sauce

Ingredients

3 pieces Grilled Nile tilapia
5 cloves Garlic
5 cloves Shallots
2 large Red chili peppers
10 small Green chili peppers
5 pieces Green chili (ale)
To taste Fresh basil leaves
To taste Tomatoes (drained)
To taste Cooking oil
To taste Seasoning (optional)
To taste Sugar
To taste Salt
1-2 packs Coconut milk (Kara)
2 glasses Water

Instructions

  1. Begin by preparing the seasoning ingredients: drain the garlic, shallots, and chili peppers.
  2. In a skillet, heat a small amount of cooking oil over medium heat. Add the drained seasonings and sauté for about 5 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Season with your choice of flavor enhancer, sugar, and salt to taste.
  4. Gradually add the coconut milk, using one or two packs depending on your preferred thickness. Stir to combine.
  5. Pour in approximately two glasses of water and let the mixture simmer for around 10 minutes, gently flipping the grilled tilapia occasionally.
  6. Once the fish is tender, introduce the fresh basil leaves and mix well.
  7. Turn off the heat and let the dish rest for a moment before serving.
