Homemade Beef Patty Burger Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 250 grams ground beef
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tablespoons breadcrumbs
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • Oregano, to taste

Steps:

  1. Begin by sautéing the finely chopped onion and minced garlic in a pan until they become fragrant and golden brown. Once cooked, remove from heat and set aside.

  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk the egg until well beaten. Add the ground beef and the sautéed onion and garlic to the bowl. Mix everything together until the ingredients are well combined.

  3. Incorporate the breadcrumbs into the meat mixture. Season with salt, black pepper, and oregano according to your taste preferences. Mix thoroughly to ensure even seasoning and consistency.

  4. Shape the beef mixture into round patties, forming them to your desired thickness.

  5. Prepare a steamer by lining it with aluminum foil and greasing it lightly with butter. Place the beef patties in the steamer and steam until they are fully cooked and no longer pink in the center.

  6. Once the beef patties are cooked, they are ready to be used. For a classic burger experience, remove the patties from the steamer and allow them to cool slightly. Heat a pan with a small amount of butter over low heat. Fry the patties in the pan until they are nicely browned and heated through.
