- 500 grams beef, cut into cubes

- ½ nutmeg
- 1 teaspoon black pepper

- 3 cm cinnamon stick
- 5 cloves
- 1 onion, sliced
- 2 stalks scallions, sliced
- 3 tablespoons sweet soy sauce
- Sugar, to taste
- Salt, to taste
- Seasoning, to taste

- Begin by grinding the shallots, garlic, nutmeg, and black pepper into a fine paste using a mortar and pestle or a food processor.

- In a large skillet or wok, heat a small amount of oil over medium heat. Add the ground spice paste, cinnamon stick, cloves, and sliced onion. Sauté until the mixture becomes fragrant and the onions are softened.
