Soup Sapi Recipe
Ingredients:
- 250 grams of beef (cut into small cubes)
- 2 small carrots (peeled and diced)
- 2 medium potatoes (peeled and diced)
- 1/4 head of cabbage (chopped)
- 2 stalks of green onions (sliced)
- 1 stalk of celery (chopped)
- 2 teaspoons white pepper
- 1 teaspoon chicken or beef bouillon powder
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1 teaspoon granulated sugar
- 5 shallots (sliced thinly)
- 1 small onion (peeled, halved, and thinly sliced)
- 3 cloves garlic (minced)
- 500 ml vegetable broth
- Water as needed
Instructions:

Prepare the Ingredients:
- Cut the beef into small cubes and rinse thoroughly.
- Peel the potatoes, cut them into halves, and then into small cubes.
- Peel the carrots and cut them into quarters.
- Slice the green onions, chop the cabbage, and dice the celery.
- Thinly slice the shallots and garlic, and set aside.
- Peel and halve the onion, then slice it thinly and set aside.

Cook the Beef:
- In a large pot, bring water to a boil. Add the beef and cook until it is halfway done.
- Add the potatoes and continue to cook until the beef is tender.

Add Aromatics:
- Stir in the onion, shallots, and garlic, and mix well.
- Add the vegetable broth to the pot.

Season and Simmer:
- Add the carrots, salt, sugar, and white pepper. Stir well and adjust the seasoning to taste.
- Once the carrots are tender, add the green onions, cabbage, and celery.
- Stir the soup and cook until all the vegetables are tender.

Finish and Serve:
- Turn off the heat and serve the soup hot.
Notes:
- Meat Alternatives: You can substitute beef with lamb or chicken based on your preference.
- Vegetable Variations: Feel free to adjust the vegetable types or quantities according to your taste.
- Broth Option: If you prefer, you can skip the vegetable broth and use plain water instead.
- Seasoning Adjustments: Adjust the amount of salt and pepper to suit your taste. Additional bouillon powder can be added if desired.
- Extra Ingredients: You may also add beef ribs for a richer flavor.
