Telur Pindang Recipe

Ingredients:

Boiled chicken eggs 5 eggs
Water 500 ml
Tea bags (black tea) 2 bags
Sweet soy sauce 1 ½ tablespoons
Brown sugar 2 tablespoons
Lemongrass (lightly crushed) 1 piece
Torn bay leaves 2 leaves
Salt and chicken broth powder To taste

Instructions:

  1. In a pot, combine all the ingredients: boiled eggs, water, tea bags, sweet soy sauce, brown sugar, lemongrass, bay leaves, salt, and chicken broth powder.
  2. Bring the mixture to a simmer over medium heat, allowing it to cook until the liquid reduces significantly.
  3. Stir occasionally to ensure the color and flavors are evenly distributed throughout the eggs.
  4. Once the broth has thickened and infused the eggs with rich flavors, remove from heat and serve.
