Ingredients:
- 500 grams chicken, cut into pieces
- 10 shallots, thinly sliced
- 2 bay leaves
- 4 cloves
- 1 cm cinnamon stick
- 1 tomato, diced
Spice Paste:
- 3 garlic cloves
- 2 cm ginger
- 2 candlenuts, roasted
- 1 tsp coriander seeds
- 1/4 tsp cumin seeds
- 1/2 tsp ground pepper
- 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
- Salt, sugar, soy sauce, and chicken stock powder to taste
Steps:

Prepare the Chicken: Boil the chicken briefly to remove any impurities. Drain and set aside. Fry over low heat until halfway cooked.

Prepare the Spice Paste: Blend garlic, ginger, candlenuts, coriander seeds, cumin seeds, pepper, and nutmeg into a smooth paste.

- Sauté the sliced shallots until fragrant. Add the spice paste and continue to cook until fragrant.
- Add bay leaves, cinnamon stick, cloves, and diced tomato. Stir well.
