  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • Sliced ripe olives (quantity not specified)
  • 1/3 cup diced green pepper
  • 1 cup chopped green onions with tops
  • 1/2 cup shredded part-skim mozzarella cheese

Instructions:

  1. In a medium bowl or covered blender container, beat together or blend eggs and milk until thoroughly blended.

  2. In a small bowl, stir together flour, Parmesan cheese, baking powder, and garlic salt.

  3. Add the dry mixture to the egg mixture and beat or blend until a smooth batter forms.

  5. Dollop small spoonfuls of pizza sauce over the top of the batter.

  6. Use a fork to draw through the batter, swirling the sauce into the batter.

  11. Once fully baked, cut the dish diagonally to form triangles.

  12. Serve the Italian Bites hot, or chill them to serve cold.
