Tumis Sayur Asin with Beef Meatballs and Fried Tofu

Ingredients:

  • 4 bunches of preserved mustard greens (sayur asin), sliced
  • 6 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
  • 10 beef meatballs (bakso sapi), sliced
  • 5 pieces of firm tofu, cut into small cubes, fried until half-cooked
  • 4 red chilies, sliced diagonally
  • Cooking oil
  • Salt and seasoning to taste
  • Water as needed

Instructions:

  1. Heat the Oil: Begin by heating a generous amount of cooking oil in a large pan over medium heat.

  2. Sauté Aromatics: Once the oil is hot, add the sliced garlic and red chilies to the pan. Sauté until the garlic becomes fragrant and golden brown.

  3. Add Beef Meatballs: Incorporate the sliced beef meatballs into the pan. Continue to stir-fry until the meatballs are slightly cooked and begin to brown.
