Ingredients
For the Dough:
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 80 ml warm milk
- 1 tsp yeast
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 3 tbsp vegetable oil

- 3 sardines (remove from sauce)
- 1/2 onion, finely chopped
- Spice Paste:
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 small onion
- 2 small chili peppers
- Salt and sugar to taste

- 3 tbsp tomato sauce
- Mozzarella cheese, to taste

Prepare the Dough:
In a mixing bowl, combine the warm milk and yeast with a pinch of sugar, stirring until mixed. Add in the flour and salt, then mix well. Incorporate the yeast mixture and blend thoroughly. Finally, add the vegetable oil and knead the dough until smooth. Cover with a clean cloth and let it rest for 30 minutes. -
Prepare the Sardines:
Remove the bones from the sardines and shred them into pieces. In a skillet, sauté the spice paste until fragrant, then add the chopped onion, stirring until softened. Add the sardine pieces and mix well. Adjust the seasoning with salt and sugar to taste, then remove from heat. -
Assemble the Pizza:
Preheat your oven to 180°C (356°F). Grease a baking tray with a little oil. Roll out the rested dough and spread it evenly in the tray, using a fork to prick the surface to prevent bubbling. Bake for about 20 minutes. -
Top and Bake:
Once the dough is lightly golden, remove it from the oven and spread the tomato sauce evenly over the surface. Add the sardine mixture, followed by a generous sprinkle of mozzarella cheese according to your preference. Return to the oven and bake until the cheese is melted and bubbly. -
