Ingredients:

  • 1/3 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 cup chopped shrimp
  • 8 slices of whole wheat bread (sandwich loaf), crusts removed

Instructions:

  1. Preparation:

    • Preheat the broiler.
    • Flatten the slices of whole wheat bread with a rolling pin.
    • Place the flattened bread slices on a cookie sheet and toast one side under the broiler.
    • Turn the bread slices over.
  2. Prepare the Mixture:
