Instructions:

Prepare Vegetables:
- Slice whole potatoes, carrots, and celery into 1/4″ rounds.
- Place them in a plastic bag and add 3/4 of the onion soup mix.
- Shake the bag well to ensure the vegetables are coated evenly.

Assemble in Crock Pot:
- Pour the vegetable mixture into the crock pot.
- Rinse the chicken breasts with water and place them in the same plastic bag.
- Add the remaining onion soup mix and shake well to coat the chicken.
- Place the chicken pieces on top of the vegetables in the crock pot.

Cooking Process:
- Pour 1 cup of water over the chicken and vegetables.
- Cook on the High setting for 4 hours.
- Reduce the heat to Low until ready to serve.

- Turn off the crock pot and carefully remove the chicken and vegetables with a slotted spoon.
- Pour the remaining liquid from the crock pot into a saucepan and add the evaporated milk.
- Begin heating the saucepan until it comes to a boil.

- In a separate bowl, mix 1/2 cup of flour with enough tap water to create a thick, gravy-like consistency.
- When the liquid in the saucepan reaches a boil, slowly add the thickening mixture while whisking constantly.
- Continue whisking until the gravy thickens to your desired consistency. You may not need to add all of the thickening mixture.
- Allow the gravy to boil for 1 minute to ensure it’s fully cooked.
