Chilli Tuna Puff Kilat: Super Yummy Delight 😙

Ingredients

Ingredients Quantity
Instant puff pastry (Edo brand) 1/2 pack
Spicy canned tuna in oil (Kingfisher) 1 can
Fried garlic oil From 3 cloves of garlic
Chili flakes or Boncabe To taste
Salt To taste
Black pepper To taste
Sugar To taste
Hard-boiled eggs, chopped 2

Instructions

  1. Sauté the Filling: In a pan, heat the fried garlic oil, then add the spicy tuna chunks. Follow with the sweet corn and stir in sugar, salt, and black pepper to taste. Cook until well combined.

  2. Add Spice: Sprinkle in the chili flakes or Boncabe along with chopped parsley, mixing thoroughly. Set this flavorful filling aside to cool.

  3. Prepare the Puff Pastry: Roll out the puff pastry and cut it into squares (refer to your visual guide). Place a portion of the tuna mixture and a few pieces of hard-boiled egg on each square, then fold the pastry over to encase the filling. Seal the edges by pressing them with the tines of a fork to prevent leakage.

  4. Finish and Bake: Brush the tops with egg yolk and, if desired, pipe on some sauce and sprinkle additional parsley for garnish. Bake in a preheated oven at approximately 200°C (about 392°F) for around 18 minutes, or until golden and firm.

  5. Enjoy: Serve warm and savor every bite of your delightful Chilli Tuna Puff!

This recipe offers a quick and delectable twist on traditional snacks, perfect for gatherings or a tasty treat at home!
