Simple Stir-Fried Mustard Greens with Tofu
Ingredients:
- 1 bunch mustard greens (washed and chopped)
- Tofu (amount to taste, cubed)
- 1 sachet oyster sauce (Saori brand or equivalent)
- 3 cloves garlic (thinly sliced)
- 4 shallots (thinly sliced)
- 1 small tomato (diced)
- 1 large chili pepper (sliced diagonally)
- 8 bird’s eye chilies (adjust to taste for spiciness)
- Seasoning powder (to taste)
- Salt (to taste)
- Sugar (to taste)
- Ladaku seasoning (to taste)
- A small amount of oil (for sautéing)
Instructions:

-
Begin by washing the mustard greens thoroughly. Chop them into bite-sized pieces. Similarly, cut the tofu into cubes according to your preference.
-
Thinly slice the garlic, shallots, and chili peppers. Dice the tomato into small pieces.
-
Heat a small amount of oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the sliced garlic, shallots, tomato, and chili peppers to the pan. Sauté until the mixture becomes fragrant and the vegetables soften.
-
Add the chopped mustard greens and tofu to the pan. Stir well to combine with the aromatic base.
-
Pour in the oyster sauce, then season with seasoning powder, salt, sugar, and Ladaku seasoning according to your taste preferences.
-
Stir everything together to ensure the ingredients are well-coated with the sauce and seasonings. Continue to cook for a few minutes, allowing the flavors to meld and the sauce to be absorbed by the vegetables and tofu.
-
Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary. Once the mustard greens are tender and the tofu is heated through, remove from heat.
-
Serve the stir-fried mustard greens and tofu hot. Enjoy this simple and flavorful dish! 👌
