Stir-Fried Pakcoy with Beef Meatballs

Ingredients:

  • 3 bunches of pakcoy (cut into pieces)
  • 4 cloves garlic (sliced)
  • 1 onion (sliced)
  • 6 beef meatballs (sliced)
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar
  • Oil for cooking

Instructions:

  1. Heat oil in a large skillet or wok over medium heat. Add the sliced garlic and onion, sautéing until fragrant and golden brown.

  2. Incorporate the sliced beef meatballs into the skillet, stirring well to combine with the garlic and onion.

  3. Add the pakcoy to the skillet, tossing gently to mix with the meatballs and aromatics. Pour in a small amount of water to help the vegetables cook evenly.

  4. Season the mixture with oyster sauce, salt, black pepper, and sugar. Stir well to ensure the flavors are evenly distributed.

  5. Continue to cook until the pakcoy is tender and the meatballs are heated through. If the liquid in the skillet is too much, you can thicken it by adding a small amount of cornstarch mixed with water.

  6. Once everything is cooked to your liking, remove from heat and serve hot.

This easy and flavorful stir-fry showcases the vibrant crunch of pakcoy paired with savory beef meatballs, making it a perfect dish for a quick weeknight dinner.
