Sukiyaki Beef with Enoki Mushrooms and Tofu

Ingredients:

  • 3 slices of beef (pre-sliced from the supermarket)
  • 1/2 pack enoki mushrooms (trim the ends)
  • 1 block yellow tofu
  • 3 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sweet soy sauce
  • Salt, sugar, mushroom broth, and black pepper to taste
  • Water as needed
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1/4 onion

Instructions:

  1. Prepare Ingredients: Finely chop the garlic and onion. Cut the tofu into small cubes. Slice the beef into bite-sized pieces for easier cooking.

  2. Sauté Aromatics: Heat a bit of oil in a non-stick pan or skillet. Add the chopped garlic and onion, sautéing until fragrant and translucent.

  3. Cook Beef: Add the sliced beef to the pan, cooking until it changes color and is no longer pink.

  4. Combine Ingredients: Add the enoki mushrooms and tofu to the pan. Stir in the oyster sauce, sweet soy sauce, salt, sugar, mushroom broth, and black pepper.

  5. Adjust Seasoning: Pour in a little water to create a light sauce. Taste and adjust seasoning as necessary, adding more salt, sugar, or soy sauce to suit your preference.
