Beef Teriyaki
Ingredients:

- 250 grams beef, sliced into thin strips
- 1 large onion, thinly sliced
- 5 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 sachet teriyaki sauce (we recommend Saori brand, but you can also use oyster sauce)
- 1 tablespoon sweet soy sauce (kecap manis)
- Salt, to taste
- Pepper, to taste
- Sugar, to taste
- Seasoning powder, to taste
Instructions:
-
Prepare the Beef:
- Slice the beef into long, thin strips. Rinse thoroughly to remove any impurities.
-
Marinate the Beef:
- Season the beef with salt and pepper. Let it marinate for about 15 minutes to enhance the flavor.
-
Sauté Aromatics:
- Thinly slice the onion and mince the garlic. Heat some oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the sliced onion and minced garlic, sautéing until fragrant and golden brown.
-
Cook the Beef:
- Add the marinated beef to the pan, stirring briefly until the meat changes color. Pour in the teriyaki sauce, sweet soy sauce, a pinch of salt, pepper, sugar, and seasoning powder. Add a little water to the pan to create a sauce.
-
Simmer:
- Cover the pan with a lid to allow the heat to distribute evenly. Let it simmer until the beef is fully cooked and tender, absorbing all the delicious flavors of the sauce.
-
Garnish and Serve:
- Once cooked, garnish the Beef Teriyaki as desired. Serve hot with steamed rice or your favorite side dish.
Enjoy this savory and sweet Beef Teriyaki, a perfect dish for any meal, whether it’s a weeknight dinner or a special occasion!
