Savory Sweet Beef Teriyaki Stir-Fry

Beef Teriyaki Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 200 grams beef, cut into thin strips
  • 1/2 onion, sliced lengthwise

Marinade:

  • 2 tablespoons sweet soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons teriyaki sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 clove garlic, finely chopped or minced
  • 1 small piece of ginger, crushed and finely chopped
  • Oil for sautéing
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • Sugar to taste
  • Seasoning to taste (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Marinade: In a bowl, combine the sweet soy sauce, teriyaki sauce, oyster sauce, minced garlic, and finely chopped ginger. Mix well.

  2. Marinate the Beef: Add the beef strips to the marinade mixture, ensuring the meat is well-coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or preferably overnight, to allow the flavors to meld.

  3. Cook the Onion: Heat a sufficient amount of oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the sliced onion and sauté until softened and slightly caramelized.

  4. Add the Beef: Add the marinated beef along with the marinade to the pan. Season with salt, sugar, and pepper to taste. Stir well to combine.

  5. Simmer: Add a small amount of water to the pan to help cook the beef thoroughly. Continue to cook, stirring occasionally, until the beef is cooked through and the liquid has reduced and thickened.

  6. Finish and Serve: Once the beef is tender and the sauce has thickened, taste and adjust seasoning if needed. Garnish with sesame seeds if desired. Serve hot and enjoy!
