Bacem Tahu dan Tempe Recipe

Ingredients

Ingredient Quantity
Tempe 1 board
Tahu (tofu) 1 package
Spices:
Shallots 5 pieces
Garlic 2 cloves
Pepper to taste
Coriander to taste
Brown Sugar 2 pieces
Bay Leaves 2 leaves
Galangal 1 small piece
Lemongrass 1 stalk
Flavor Enhancer 1 packet
Water 3 glasses

Instructions

  1. Preparation: Begin by slicing the tempe and tofu into desired shapes.
  2. Blend Spices: In a blender, combine the shallots, garlic, pepper, and coriander. Blend until smooth.
  3. Cooking: In a pot, add the sliced tempe, tofu, blended spices, bay leaves, galangal, lemongrass, and brown sugar. Pour in 3 glasses of water.
  4. Simmer: Bring the mixture to a boil. Once boiling, add the flavor enhancer and reduce the heat. Let it simmer until the water has mostly evaporated.
  5. Fry: In a pan, heat a little oil and fry the cooked tempe and tofu until golden brown.
