Tahu Goling Recipe

Ingredients

Ingredient Quantity
Fried brown tofu 10 pieces, diced
Cabbage leaves 5, thinly sliced
Bean sprouts 100 grams, briefly boiled
Palm sugar 2 pieces
Spice Paste:
Garlic 3 cloves
Red chili peppers 2
Bird’s eye chili 3 (to taste)
Salt to taste
Garnishes:
Fried shallots to taste
Celery thinly sliced
Ketupat (rice cakes) to taste

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Sauce: In a pot of boiling water, add the ground spice paste and palm sugar. Stir until the sugar dissolves and adjust the seasoning to your preference. Set aside.

  2. Assemble the Dish: In serving bowls, layer the diced ketupat, fried tofu, cabbage, and boiled bean sprouts.

  3. Garnish and Serve: Sprinkle with sliced celery and fried shallots. Pour the warm sauce over the top and serve immediately while warm for the ultimate flavor experience. Enjoy!
