Tempe Steak Recipe

Instructions:
- In a mixing bowl, combine the mashed tempe, garlic, and white pepper. Gradually add the beaten egg and all-purpose flour, mixing until well incorporated.
- Heat a non-stick skillet and lightly grease it with oil. Shape the tempe mixture into steak-like patties.
- Cook the patties in the skillet over medium heat until golden brown, being careful not to overcook them.
- For the sauce, sauté the sliced onion until translucent, then add the oyster sauce and cornstarch mixture. Stir well and simmer until thickened.
- Serve the tempe steaks topped with the sauce, alongside steamed green beans and carrots, and fried potatoes on the side.
