Stir-Fried Tempeh and Mushrooms with Vegetables (Oseng Tempe Jamur plus Sayuran)

Ingredients

Long green beans (cut into small pieces) 3 stalks
Cabbage (thinly sliced) 2 leaves
Sweet corn (kernels) 1/2 ear
Tempeh (cubed and lightly fried) 3 slices
Button mushrooms (halved) 1/2 pack

Garlic (thinly sliced) 1 clove
Green chili (thinly sliced) 1 piece
Tomato (thinly sliced) 1 small
Galangal (crushed) 1 small piece
Lemongrass (crushed) 1/4 stalk
Bay leaf 1 leaf
Kaffir lime leaves 2 leaves
Salt To taste
Granulated sugar To taste
Ground pepper To taste
Seasoning powder (optional) To taste

Instructions

Steps Details
1. Prepare the vegetables Slice the long green beans and cabbage into small pieces. Remove the corn kernels from the cob. Cube the tempeh and fry until golden, then set aside.
2. Prepare the seasonings Thinly slice the shallots, garlic, green chili, and tomato. Crush the galangal and lemongrass for added flavor.
3. Sauté the spices Heat a little oil in a pan. Sauté the sliced shallots, garlic, green chili, and tomato along with the bay leaf, kaffir lime leaves, crushed galangal, and lemongrass until fragrant.
4. Add the vegetables Add the long green beans and corn kernels. Stir-fry and add about 1/4 cup of water. Cover and let it simmer briefly.
5. Add cabbage and stir Once the beans are partially cooked, add the cabbage and stir until slightly softened.
6. Combine with tempeh and mushrooms Add the fried tempeh cubes and button mushrooms to the pan. Season with salt, sugar, ground pepper, and a little seasoning powder if desired. Stir and cook briefly.
7. Serve and enjoy Once everything is cooked through, remove from heat and serve your flavorful stir-fried tempeh and vegetables. Enjoy this healthy, tasty dish as a main or side.
